On October 8th we invited Kim Phúc as key note speaker to our congress 'Journey to optimised health care'. Mrs. Kim Phúc has from her experience as a victim from the Vietnam War turned things around to the point where she has become an example for us in 'entrepreneurship in health care' and in change management.

During the congress we also had a debate on 5 present-day health care topics.
These are the five topics that we addressed during the congress:

• Hospitals as the center of econimical and logistic growth
• Corporate governance in health care
• Belgium as a key-player for 'health care without borders'
• 'Cost of drug' to 'value of treatment'
• The future of ICT in the health care market
